The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider # C16521 referenced in your question will work great and is confirmed to fit your 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 with the factory rail kit installed. You will just need to add the Adapter Rails # C16022, which will mount to the receivers in your Ram's underbed prep package to provide an attachment point for the Curt A16.

This Curt 5th Wheel Hitch has a 16,000 pound gross towing weight capacity, which will work nicely with your 14,000 pound trailer. It also features an interlocking 2-jaw system that will provide a more secure connection to the trailer king pin, resulting in less rattle and a smoother ride when towing.
