Compressed vs Extended Lengths of RV Sewer Hoses

Question:

Need to replace the original sewer hose on my travel trailer with a HD version. Im confused by the difference between extended versus compressed length of replacement hoses since I only have a 26 inch storage tube and hope you can provide some guidance. I have a bayonet ends on my 3 inch wide hose. Can you provide a recommendation for a replacement HD hose that would fit in the 26inch storage tube. Ideally I would like to have the option of having a 90 degree elbow on the discharge end of the hose... whether the elbow comes as part of the hose package or can be separately purchased

We can help you with a replacement 3-inch sewer hose and we also have adjustable hose carriers in various lengths just in case you prefer a longer hose than will fit in your current 26-inch storage carrier. Please refer to the linked page to see both hoses and carriers.

As an example, we offer the Viper extra-heavy-duty RV Sewer Hose Kit # D04-0475 which consists of two 10-foot connectable hoses along with a 90-degree clear elbow. Each hose collapses down to a 50-inch length. If you only need the length of one hose, then this kit gives you a built-in clean spare you can store elsewhere in the RV.
