Installation Of ETBC7 Kit Based On Diagram
Question:
Hello, Looking at the diagram it seems to me as you would only need one positive lead from the battery, split it before circuit breakers for trailer hot lead and brake controller. Hopefully Im making sense and if not see picture attached. Thanks

You technically can run one hot lead from the battery and split it out before the circuit breakers and it will work. I prefer to use the separate wires like # 12-2-1 just to keep from splicing an additional time. Basically you would be taking the surface area that the current runs down and splitting it instead of giving it the entire pipeline to save a foot or two of wire depending on where you place your circuit breakers. If you want to save that amount of wire, it will work the way you described.
