Recommended 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch in a 2017 Ford F-350 With Factory Prep Package
Question:
1 Can you connect safety chains using the holes in the 2017 F-350 with the factory installed 5th Wheel Prep Pkg with the Andersen Ultimate Hitch Connection? If not, how/where would you connect safety chains? 2 Will the Andersen Ultimate hitch work safely with a 5th Wheel trailer with the Roto Flex PinBox upgrade on the traaler pin box? Thank You

To answer your second question first, yes, the Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel Adapter # AM3200 can be used with a Roto Flex pin box. It however cannot be used with a Sidewinder or Revolution pin box.
However, on to your first question, the Andersen installs into industry standard fifth wheel base rails so it will not work in your 2017 Ford F-350 that has the factory prep package. In order to install the Andersen into the prep package it will need the adapter, like # RP30156, which means you'd be using an adapter in an adapter that I can't recommend.
Instead I recommend getting a hitch that will fit directly into your truck's prep package. The most popular is the B&W Companion # BWRVK3300. Or for a more economical option the Curt # C16034. Both are designed specifically for the Ford package since 2011 and are rated up to 20,000 pounds.
I've attached some videos for you to take a look at as well.
