Recommended Weight Distribution System For R-Pod Trailer Behind 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250
Question:
I am pulling a R-Pod camper dry weight 2600 - my 2015 GLK 250 Mercedes can pull 3500 lbs. When I attach the camper the suspension in the back is lowered and I am getting outside tire wear. The Trailer is not swaying I found the drive pulling ok. I am concerned about the tire wear. What hitch is the solution for this issue?

For your application, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 4,500 lbs GTW, 450 lbs TW # FA92-00-0450. This system has no minimum tongue weight and a max total tongue weight of 450 lbs. This will help with the total tongue weight which includes the loaded trailer tongue and any cargo behind the rear axle of your GLK 250. This system will distribute that weight over your trailer to decrease squat and help your tires to ride properly so they don't have uneven wear.
You will need a hitch ball for this system. For a 2 inch ball, I recommend the Curt Hitch Ball with 2" Diameter Ball, 12,000 lbs GTW - Chrome # 40038.
