Test Trailer To Determine If it's Aluminum for Install for Fulton Hinge Kit
Question:
I have a venture aluminum trailer and Im almost 100 positive that the tongue is steel. What is the best way to confirm this and assuming it is, is there any other reason I cannot use this on my trailer?

It looks like it's steel to me, but you can try to see if a magnet would attach to it. If not, then you'd know it's aluminum and the hinge kit part # FHDPB350101 couldn't be used.
