Is there a Difference Between the Curt and Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Harnesses for a 2004 Honda Pilot

just wondering if there is any significant difference in these wiring harnesses. They almost look like the same part with different labels.

As far as how the Curt and Tow Ready trailer wiring harnesses for the 2004 Honda Pilot function and install they are the same. The guts in each of the converter boxes is not quite the same. The Curt harness # C55336 uses surface mount circuitry meaning components are soldered directly to a circuit board.
The Tow Ready/Tekonsha harness # 118336 uses through-hole circuitry which you have probably seen before in just about everything. If it were me I would go with # 118336 because we here about less issues with them. I have linked a video showing how it installs for you.
