Supplemental Transmission Cooler and Adapter Fitting for 2000 Ford F-350 with 7.3 L Diesel
Question:
I have a 2000 Ford F350 7.3L Diesel. I am interested in obtaining a Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit. I would like to know what parts do you recommend to integrate it with my factory cooler additional parts, hoses, etc? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Expert Reply:
We have three plate-fin Derale transmission coolers confirmed to fit your 2000 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 L diesel. The best one for you is going to be the largest that you can fit in the front of your engine compartment so it gets as much air flow as possible.
All three for your truck are 11 inches wide a 7/8 inches deep. The difference is the height::
# D13502 is 7-1/4 inches tall
# D13503 is 8-3/4 inches tall
# D13504 is 12 inches tall
Each cooler will also need the Ford adapter fitting, part # D13025.
