Are All Components Included the Hi-Rise Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches

Does this come with everything needed to tow gooseneck and 5th wheel trailers? If not what additional equipment will be needed?

Both the Draw-Tite Custom Underbed Installation Kit, # 9460-39-5W, and the Hi-Rise 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # 9480-5W, will have all the needed equipment to connect a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer to your 2000 Dodge Ram truck.

However, components like vehicle wiring, brake controller, or safety chains will not be included with these the two hitches.

If needed, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, with the Brake Controller Wiring Harness, # 3020-P. I also recommend the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Harness, # HM42137. This harness will allow you to add a 7-way trailer connection in the bed of your truck. Adding a7-way to the bed will make for easy electrical connection between your gooseneck and 5th wheel trailer.
