What Items Are Needed to Flat Tow 2016 Ford Edge Titanium

Hello there, for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium is the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2inch Ball - 6,000 lbs Item # RM-501 Ready to go in terms of the tow bar aspect and mounting to the vehicle? I know i will need the wire harness for lights but i see kits that have separate bars and mounting brackets. Thanks

To flat tow a vehicle behind a motorhome you need several components including a tow bar, base plates that bolt on the towed car, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit of some type, a high/low hitch adapter to keep the tow bar level, a wiring umbilical and a braking system for the towed car. The base plate that bolts on to the front of the towed car, such as Roadmaster part # RM-524454-4 that fits the Titanium without Active Cruise Control, will work with all Roadmaster tow bars, including the Stowmaster # RM-501.
