Recommended Trailer Hitch And Wiring For 2012 BMW 328i Sedan
Question:
I have a 2012 BMW 328i convertible that I need to attach a hitch for a small trailer. Do you have recommendations as I want to conceal as much as possible and do not want to weld. Thank you.

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2012 BMW 328i is the Curt # C11367. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. I have attached an installation video for you to check out.
You will need a ball mount and a hitch ball to tow your trailer. I recommend the Sportframe Drawbar kit # 3593. This kit includes a ball mount with a 2-1/8 inch rise and 2-3/4 inch drop, and is rated for trailers that weigh up to 2,000-lbs. This kit also includes the hitch pin and clip.
For a hitch ball I recommend part # C40018 for a 2-inch ball and part # C40001 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball.
If you need a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the ZCI Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This wiring harness uses sensors that clamp onto your BMW wiring so there is no cutting or splicing when installing this harness.
