Sidewinder Replacement Pin Box for 2009 Eclipse Attitude

Question:

I have 2016 ram 2500 short bed with the puck system. I have a bw companion non slider hitch installed in my puck system. My trailer is a 2009 eclipse attitude gvrw 12,900. Can I use a sidewinder to move the trailer away from the cab? If not what are your recommendations?

When 5th wheel towing with a short bed truck like your 2016 Ram 2500 and a non-sliding hitch like the excellent B&W Companion # BWRVK3600 a Sidewinder replacement pin box that extends the truck/trailer pivot point can provide the needed clearance between the cab and trailer. Sidewinders provide 22-inches of additional turning clearance and they are offered in both standard and cushioned types.

You can choose a Sidewinder based on the original pin box part number, usually found on the driver-side sticker on the box. The linked article includes a table of popular pin boxes and the available Sidewinders that will bolt right up in their place.
