Mounting Bracket for Fulton F2 Trailer Jack # F1413040134
Question:
I JUST RECNTLY PURCHASED THIS, INSALLATION TIME IS HERE AND, YOU GUESSED IT, OF COURSE THE HARDWARE ISSUE. I HAVE A SHORLANDER TRAILER THAT IS HIGHER FRAME THAN THE ATTACHED BRACKET. WHEN I LOOK ONLINE AT YOUR MOUNTING BRACKET P9012-00 I AM WONDERING IF THIS IS THE PART I NEED TO ORDER IN ADDITION, AS I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW IT ATTACHES. I DONT WANT A WELD ON PIECE, SO I MAY HAVE TO RETURN IT OTHERWISE. DO YOU HAVE ANY ILLISTRATIONS OR ADVICE-?

Expert Reply:
The mounting bracket for Fulton F2 jack # F1413040134 uses u-bolts and fits 3x3 or 3x4 inch frames. It bolts on to the side of your frame. If you do choose to weld-on that bracket, you would use part # F500320 and the welding should be performed by a professional welder. Take a look at the install video for your jack and see if that clears things up for you.
