Does Power Wire of Trailer Wiring for Mazda Tribute Run Inside or Outside the Vehicle
Question:
For my Mazda tribute the written instructions that come with the 118551 harness are totally different than the installation video you provide. Written directs removal of all cabin inside panels but video has all the routing outside along the bumper. Is the video the better of the 2 methods? It seems less laborious so you should state on the package that the video overrides the written instructions for installation.

When it comes to routing the power wire for trailer wiring like the part # 118551 there is more than one way it can be accomplished. If it were me I would run it outside the vehicle like the install video shows. It is your choice at the end of the day though.
