Will the Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # TH859XT fit a 2017 Honda CR-V

Question:

The one I like it the Thule th859xt without extension. it says it is 20 wide but my cross bars are 34.5 inside the mounting brackets. Also the cross bars are not flat but bowed some. They are the standard factory cross bars. I think the 50inch length will work. I like the Thule because the tubing is larger. I have also looked at the Curt. Do you have any of the THule on a CRV? Feel free to offer another suggestion. I also considered one of the roof turtle boxes.

The Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # HT859XT that you referenced will fit crossbars with spreads (center to center) of: 20 inches - 37inches. It will be okay if the sides of the basket sit over the mounting towers.

I have attached a video of the Thule cargo basket being install on a 2015 Honda CR-V. Please keep in mind that this basket has a weight capacity of 150 lbs but you will want to check your owner's manual to determine what the capacity is of your crossbars are.
