Parts Needed to Install Prodigy RF Brake Controller in 2015 Mercedes GL350
Question:
My 2015 GL350 did not come with a factory trailer hitch or 7 pin connector. Im planning on using a Prodigy RF controller but need to wire up a 7 pin connector. Where is the factory connector plug located that I can tap into to get turn signals, brake lights, etc?

If your 2015 Mercedes Benz GL350 did not come with trailer wiring you would need to start with a 4-way like the part # 119250KIT which will install by attaching to the taillight wires of your vehicle. It uses sensors though so it doesn't require any hardwiring.
Then to convert to a 7-way to be used with the RF you would want the part # 37185. The 4-way would plug into this and then you'd have to run the black wire up to the positive post of the battery with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker part # 9510.
