Can Additional Clearance Between Trailer Overhang & Truck Bed Rails be Gained if Hitch is Maxed Out
Question:
I purchased a Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset - 12inch to 16inch Tall Item # CAB-C5GX1216 for use with my 1998 Aljo 5th wheel. At maximum extension I do not get enough clearance from my truck bed walls. What can I do to to lift the trailer higher to clear my truck bed walls?

Check the pin box of your trailer. Hopefully there is an additional set of mounting holes below what you are currently using that will allow you to lower the pin box in the trailer frame which will give you additional height out of the trailer.
You want a minimum of 6 inches of clearance between truck cab and trailer overhang.
