Will a New 5th Wheel Wedge Be Needed For a Sidewinder Pin Box and a Reese OEM 5th Wheel # RP30918
Question:
I am thinking of upgrading from a Reese ProSeries 16k hitch to the Reese OE 20k hitch for Ram trucks #RP30918. My trailer is a Grand Design Reflection 337 rls with an Airborne Sidewinder pin box. Will I need to purchase a different wedge block for the Sidewinder to match up with the 20k OE hitch it seems to have a wider throat? Also, do you know the total weight of the 20k hitch and whether or not it can be easily removed from the truck in two pieces? Many thanks for your help.
