Prodigy Brake Controller Only Applies Brakes When Using Manual Override

Question:

Hi. We have had our controller for a couple of years. We recently changed caravan. The controller works on the manual lever displaying numbers but when applying the brake pedal there is no response. The .c. remains displayed but no numbers. We didnt have this problem with the other van. Any advice would be appreciated

The first thing that comes to mind is to make sure that you are moving before applying the brake pedal. Since the Prodigy P2 # 90885, and the Prodigy P3 # 90195 are proportional brake controllers that use inertial sensors to help detect when there is deceleration, if there is no deceleration then the controller will not output any signal.

If you try this and it doesn't work just let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further.
