Replacement Locking Mechanism For The Thule Vertex Bike Rack

do you guys sell the One-Key System cylinder locking mechanism for the Thule Vertex 2 bike with the built-in cable lock? I think the locking mechanism is broken. wondering if i can just replace that.

Yes, we have several different options for you to consider. If you would like a locking mechanism that works with your current key on the Thule Vertex bike rack, i will just need the numbers on the actual key itself and I would be happy to recommend a replacement locking cylinder for you.
If you do not wish to retain the same key, we have the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders part # TH450200 for you. This kit includes two new keyed-alike locking mechanism in addition to two of the same keys. It also includes a control key which is required to remove the current locking cylinder.
If the plastic housing around the locking mechanism becomes damaged while removing, you can replace it with the Replacement Locking End Cap part # TH8523294001 as well.
I spoke to my representative at Thule and he informed me that the male locking cable that runs across the top of the bike rack is integrated into the bike rack and not available as a replacement part.
