Solution for 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 With Suspension Sag and Some Sway
Question:
I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. When i put my travel trailer on the hitch it squats down quite a bit and I experience some sway when towing. My question is would the air lift 1000 take care of the problem?

For what you are experiencing we have a better option than suspension enhancement. Instead you would want a weight distribution system. This reduces the sag and sway by distributing some of the tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle. Because of this you get better traction for handling and turning plus a reduction in sway.
The part # AL60818 would reduce the sway but wouldn't address any of the other problems.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
Once you know your tongue weight you will want to check out the link I attached that has all of the weight distribution systems we carry. You will be able to select your tongue weight from the filters to see what would be rated for your setup.
Most likely the best setup would be the part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs. It also has the only sway control on the market that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
