Backspacing of Trailer Wheel and Tire Combo part # AM30540

Question:

I want to replace the eight inch tires on my trailer to twelve inch tires. I am looking at your part number AM30540. What is the steel wheel backspace dimension? My current wheel has a 2 1/4 inch backspace. All other needed dimensions were available on you web page I plane to add you part number CE26110PG to transport a motorcycle a long distance.

The backspacing of the wheel that comes with the wheel and tire combo part # AM30540 that you referenced is 2-1/4 inches. This is calculated by taking the width of the wheel (4 inches) adding an additional inch for the lip on the wheel and then dividing by two. It's that easy to calculate because all trailer wheels like this one have an offset of zero.
