To determine the correct hydraulic drum brakes to replace those on your 1991 EZ Loader two axle boat trailer, you will want to measure the drum behind the wheels.

Based on the pictures you sent and the information you provided, the axles on the trailer are most likely either 3,500 or 5,200 pound axles. Using this, along with the the fact that the axle has a 5 bolt mounting flange, the compatible replacement is most likely going to be hydraulic brakes rated for 5,200 pound axles.

I recommend looking at the Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni Servo - Free Backing # AKFBBRK-7-D. These are 12 inch diameter x 2 inch wide hydraulic drum brakes that are designed to fit 14-1/2 inch to 16-1/2 inch wheels on axles between 5,200 to 7,000 pounds. This kit includes both the left and right hand assemblies and the Dacromet-coated backing plates will resist rust. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product for you to check out. You will need the mounting bolts and hardware # BRKH12 for the installation.

I have also included a link that will take you to our available selection of hydraulic drum brakes for you to look through if you find the drums on your trailer have a different dimension.

If you are looking to replace the Dico 10 actuator on the trailer, I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum # DM8103102. This actuator has a capacity of 12,500 pounds and will weld onto 3 inch wide trailer tongues. It uses a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball size.

I have included the installation details on this product for you to look through. I have also attached an article on adding hydraulic drum brakes that you may find helpful.
