Parts Needed to Tow Trailer with 2004 Volkswagen Jetta

Hello, Im looking to get a towing setup for my 2004 Volkswagen Gas Jetta. Im towing a jet ski and need a 2 inch ball for it. I need help finding the right setup, such as which frame to buy, wiring kit and ball mounts. Im pretty new to this so bare with me. Thank you!

We are here to help. We have just what you need to tow a trailer with your 2004 Volkswagen Jetta.

First let's start with a hitch for your vehicle. For that the Draw Tite hitch part # 24748 would be a great option confirmed as a fit. Then you would need a ball mount, for that part # 3593. For a 2 inch ball you would want the part # 19258. Then for trailer wiring you would want the part # 119178KIT which is a universal fit kit but will still work great.

You'd want to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if you have the capacity needed to tow your trailer. The hitch I recommended has a 2,000 lb capacity but the lowest rated component in your setup is the overall capacity.
