Husky Centerline TS Weight Distribution System for 2014 Ram 1500 Bighorn
Question:
I am thinking of purchasing the Husky Centerline TS 800 plus and is this something I can use on a 2014 Ram 1500 Bighorn. I have one with the chains currently and would rather have something like the Centerline TS. Thanks

The Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32218 is designed for 2-inch hitches like the one on your 2014 Ram 1500 and it will provide load leveling and sway control for a trailer set-up with a total effective tongue weight (TETW) of 800- to 1200-lbs.
TETW is the sum of the fully-loaded trailer's actual measured TW plus the weight of any cargo in the truck bed that sits behind the rear axle, such as a loaded cooler or generator. The weight of such items will act just like trailer TW so it must be included as you consider a system. Ideally the total TW falls in the middle of the system's range. If you have a TETW of 900- to 1000-lbs then this system is perfect. We do offer a handy TW scale # e99044 but other methods to measure are noted in the linked article.
An advantage of the Husky CL is its smaller spring bar lift brackets. These can be much easier to position on a trailer frame since they take up much less space than some others. If you have propane tanks and other items mounted on the a-frame then this system can be a perfect choice.
Another benefit is that the CL system is complete; no other items needed.
