We currently do not have a confirmed fit for your 2016 Toyota Highlander. The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1168R only are confirmed to fit models through 2015.

Your best option for suspension assistance is to use a weight distribution system to help distribute the tongue weight over the trailer. I will need the weights of your trailer to help with a recommendation for this system. It is based on total tongue weight that is your loaded trailer tongue weight along with any cargo weight behind the rear axle of your Highlander. This total tongue weight should fall in the middle of the rating for the weight distribution system for best function.

You want to choose a weight distribution system based on total tongue weight which includes the loaded trailer tongue weight when ready to travel and any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2015 Toyota Highlander. For your system, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37100ET. This system comes with the hitch ball and everything you need. It is rated for total tongue weight of 600-1000 lbs. You want your trailer with cargo to be in that range and ideally in the middle of that range. This system has 4-point sway control utilizing metal on metal friction. If you don't have a thin walled socket, I recommend the 1-7/8" 12pt Socket - 3/4" Drive - Chromium-Vanadium Steel # ALL643216 to install that hitch ball.
