Is There Strength Difference Between Universal and Custom Install Kits for Fifth Wheel Hitches?

I'm looking at a rail kit for my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Is there an advantage in strength from the universal install kit to the one with custom brackets? I've installed a universal on my last truck and now see that you offer a custom bracket. Thanks
