Flat-Towing a Standard 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Behind RV

Can you give me everything I will need to tow my Jeep behind my RV? Maybe a premium package and a low-cost package?

Flat-towing your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited will require a few different pieces, starting with a base plate that is designed to fit on your vehicle, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX1126.
A tow bar will also be needed, and I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380. The bar slides into your RV's two-inch trailer hitch receiver and has a swivel function, which means you won't have to be exactly level to hook your Jeep up.
You will want wiring in order to operate your Jeep's tail lights, and I recommend the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200, which works by simply plugging the kit into your existing wiring instead of having to splice or cut wires. You will also want the Blue Ox Coiled Electrical Cord, # BX88206, as a wired connection between your Jeep and RV.
A supplemental braking system s needed as well, and I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This system will never have to be removed, automatically working when you tow your Jeep. Using a braking system will require Brake Lite Relay # RM-88400.
This will keep your Jeep's brake signal from overriding the turn signals sent by your RV. It is also recommended you get a 12-Volt Outlet Kit, # RM-9332.
