Thule Aeroblade Crossbar Roof Rack Recommendation for 2008 BMW 535xi for Hullavator Kayak Carrier
Question:
Online site suggested 53 inch aeroblades, but experts suggested 47 inch. I have already ordered the Hullivator. What is the difference between the 2 lengths? I have a BMW 2008 535xi sedan, naked roof now. Please advice? Thanks.

The Thule Hullavator # TH898 needs a bit of an overhang past the feet of the rack to install and function so going with a longer bar will give you a better result in that regard.
It looks like Thule has two different length bars they recommend for your 2008 BMW 535xi sedan so because of that I would go with the longer bar part # TH711420, and then the feet part # TH480R, with the fit kit part # THKIT1325.
