Class IV/V 2 Inch Trailer Hitch for a 2010 Ford E-350 Cab and Chassis Van

Question:

My frame is 41and 1/2 inch wide. Need a 2inch receiver, Class IV or V hitch rated for 10,000 lbs. Probably about 8inch

On your cab and chassis 2010 Ford E-350 van measure the distance from the center of a bolt hole (where the hitch mounts, see linked instructions) to the center of the same hole on the opposite side. If that distance is 38-5/8 inches then you can install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 41945. This is a Class IV/V hitch with a 2 inch receiver. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.

I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2216. It comes with a ball mount with a 1 inch rise or 2 inch drop, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.

For trailer wiring I cannot say for certain if any of the wiring harnesses for models without a factory tow package will fit on the cab and chassis models. It all depends on if it has the same tail lights as the regular van models or not. If it does then you can use # 118551 to add a 4-Way flat to the rear of the vehicle. But if the tail lights are different then I recommend a hardwire kit, # C59496.
