Can I Use The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-2 With My Blue Ox Tow Bar

Question:

Will a blue ox tow bar fit this receiver? I noticed that a previous answer for the 4 mentioned for Roadmaster Tow bars only.

If your Blue Ox tow bar is an RV mounted tow bar, then part # RM-077-2 will work if your receiver is a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver. An RV mounted tow bar will have the shank to fit into one of the 2 inch by 2 inch openings of part # RM-077-2.

If your Blue Ox tow bar is a vehicle mounted tow bar, then part # RM-077-2 will not work, as it will have a ball mount coupler on the end of the tow bar.

As long as your Blue Ox tow bar is an RV mounted tow bar, as it would disconnect from the vehicle you are towing, and it fits into 2 inch by 2 inch receivers, part # RM-077-2 will work.

Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver. I have concerns that my Blue Ox tow bar could possibly interfere with upper receiver. Has anyone experienced that scenario?

We've not run into this or heard of this particular issue from customers regarding the Roadmaster # RM-077-2. It's designed specifically for use with tow bars so I don't expect it to be a problem.
