Rust, I do a lot salt Water fishing. Is it resistant to Salt Spray?

The body of the Diversi-Tech Adjustable Ball Mount, # DTALBM6600, is made from aircraft-grade high-strength polished billet aluminum, which is naturally corrosion resistant and would be excellent for salt water marine applications. The integrated hitch pins are made from O-ring-sealed stainless-steel which is also corrosion resistant.
The balls are chrome-plated which is not the most corrosion resistant material but they are durable when compared to zinc and aluminum balls. For the balls, I recommend using Trailer Hitch Grease - Hitches, Balls, Couplers, # 11748, to prevent rust and oxidation.
