Difference Between EZ5 and EZ4 Base Plate Kits for 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
Question:
I have a new 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk and also a Falcon 2 Tow bar. My question is what is the difference between 521446-5 and 521446-4. looks to me -5 you can connect directly and -4, you need to add something to the front plate?

You basically have the differences figured out. The EZ5 part # RM-521446-5 attaches directly to the tow bar and the part # RM-521446-4 requires you to use the included crossbar that comes with tow bars from Roadmaster like the very popular Falcon # RM-520. I would go with the EZ5 if it were me since it's one less thing to hook up.
