Do All Install Bolts Of Curt Hitch for 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Need to be Used
Question:
Installed 7 of 8 bolts for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # C13152 on my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T and it fits great except one of the female threads on my vehicle is stripped for unknown reasons and I cant complete step 4 or secure hitch to the existing weldnuts with M10-1.25 x 25mm bolts and 3/8 conical toothed washers. Should I try to rethread the female threads on my vehicle? It seems very secure without it. Install was a breeze except for this one boltthanks for your great instructions and video! Thanks,

We can only recommend you use your hitch once all of the install bolts are used. Without all of the hardware used the hitch would have a lower, unknown weight rating and it's warranty would be voided.
Sometimes rust, or dirt/road grime can get in the threads of weld nuts which then prevents hardware from threading into them fully. I attached a help article that covers how to clean out weld nuts to allow the bolts to thread.
