Will Prodigy P3 Electric Brake Controller Fit in 2015 GMC Sierra and What is Required to Install It

Question:

I am looking to purchase the P3 brake Controller with the wiring harness. How do I know if my truck is equipped to handle the controller? If I look for that plug in the box behind the pedals, and it is there, does that mean it will work? I just want to make sure if I purchase this, that it will work and I will not be stuck with it if it does not work.

Your 2015 GMC Sierra will have the connector under the dash and will be able to use the Prodigy P3 # 90195. Pretty much all vehiclels can handle a brake controller. However, some require more parts and labor to make it happen.

On your truck all you need is the P3 and the wiring adapter # 3016.

I've linked an install video on a 2014 Silverado which is the same process as your truck.
