You could use a dual path compressor system to control the air pressure in air bags on your 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500HD and the Air Safe hitch provided the psi range for the air bags is within the capabilities of the compressor system (0 to 100 psi for most systems).
For a basic compressor system with analog gauges you can use # AL25651. This is a wired system. If you are looking for a wireless system you can use # AL74000. This system will automatically maintain the pressure in the air bags within 3 psi of what you have it set to.
For LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate systems for your truck you can use # AL88275 for 2- or 4-wheel drive models. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
