How Is Debris In Water Trapped By Water Regulator For RVs
Question:
How do you protect a water pressure regulator from being plugged or degraded by stuff in the water? Some folks insist on putting a Camco filter before the regulator. But those filters are not rated to handle unregulated water pressure.

A water regulator like part # A01-1122VP has a small filter that catches most of the debris you may have in the water. I have attached a photo of the regulator that shows the small screen.
After the water pressure is reduced you can use the filter like part # CAM40631 that will clean up the balance of debris like aluminum, bacteria, bad taste, cadmium, chlorine, fungus, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide, iron, lead, mercury, mold, odor, cloudiness, and sediment.
