I did some research on your 2015 Ford F-150, and on page 268 the towing guide says your truck can handle a gross combined weight of 16,900-lbs when your truck and trailer are fully loaded and ready to tow.

Per the weights you mentioned totaling 10,000 lbs, that would be pushing the capacity of your truck to the maximum. You will want to make sure you stay under the total capacity for your truck.

Since you have a 5-1/2 ft truck bed, you will need to install a fixed fifth wheel hitch and then replace your pin box with a Sidewinder so you can make turns.

The fifth wheel hitch I recommend for your F-150 is the Pro Series # RP30154 . This hitch has a towing capacity of 20,000-lbs. The hitch has dual jaws that help reduce jarring and chucking.

The rail installation kit I recommend is the Custom Quick-Install kit # RP56034-53. Using this kit cuts the installation time in half when compared to the universal kits.

If you want to let me know what pin box you have on the fifth wheel trailer I will be glad to make a recommendation for a Sidewinder you can use. I have attached a link to a helpful article about the Sidewinder pin box you can check out.

I also recommend installing a 7-way trailer connector like part # 41157 in the truck bed.
