With a short bed on your 2011 Ford Super Duty, you will need a slider hitch. There are no 18k sliders available, but there are numerous 16k hitches. I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Round Tube Slider, # RP30075, that you have referenced.
The round tube offers 12 inches of travel which will provide more clearance when making 90 degree turns. The hitch also features a double locking jaw which provides more hitch to king pin contact that single or slide bar connections. The 4-Way pivoting head also makes hookup on uneven ground much easier.
For installation kits, there are a couple of options. The Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP30035, is more economical but has an estimated installation time of approximately 5 hours. It takes longer because more drilling is required with this kit. I have included a link to the installation details for this kit for reference.
The kit I recommend is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP50026-58. This kit comes with custom brackets for the truck which do not require any extra drilling. The estimated install time for this kit is 2.5 hours.
