For your 2016 Ram Big Horn with 5.7 Hemi, Air springs will help level the ride and give you additional support, but it will not allow you to carry more weight than the vehicle load capacity specs. The factory suspension is assisted in distributing the weight, but that doesn't mean you can carry more.

If you have a 2016 Ram 1500, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57365. There is also the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88370 that adds the internal jounce spring for worse case scenarios. The Air Bag itself does not function differently, but there is the additional security. These systems are otherwise identical and can adjust from 5 psi to 100 psi to level your load and can be adjusted independently for off-center loads.

If you have the Ram 2500, the part numbers are slightly different due to bracket changes. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers is # AL88289 or without jounce bumpers is # AL57289.

If you have the Ram 3500, the springs with internal Jounce Bumpers are # AL88297 or without are # AL57297.

If you are interested in having a compressor added so you don't need to plan ahead for adjusting the springs manually, I recommend the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Single Path # AL25592 which will inflate the springs to the same psi, or the Air Lift Load Controller I Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Dual Path # AL25651 which will allow you to adjust the springs independently. These systems give you a gauge in your cab as well as the toggle switch for adjusting pressure up or down.
