Availability of a Roof Rack to Fit a 2000 Toyota Echo 4 Door Sedan

Question:

Will this roof rack fit my 2000 Toyota Echo 4 door sedan? Are any adapters needed? I have no existing rails or crossbars. I want to carry 2 kayaks. I have kayak carriers that adapt to most racks so I just need the racks. Are the clips covered with something to prevent scratching?
