Recommendation for Cargo Carrier that Sits Nose High with Weight Distribution System
Question:
Im using this weight distribution hitch on a 2017 sierra crew cab, pulling a 20foot enclosed cargo trailer. When fully loaded and no bars, the truck sits 2-3inch lower then stock and the trailer is still nose high. Ive used the bars with 3-4 links hanging and everything rides beautifully but then the nose is really high, and the back end is uncomfortably close to the road. Which shank is recommended to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

To add a drop from the trailer hitch on your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 when using the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System # C17331 referenced in your question, I recommend using the Curt Welded Weight Distribution Shank # C17123. This is an adjustable shank with 10 bolt holes, spaced 1-1/4 inches apart, that will allow you to adjust the drop with your trunnion bar weight distribution system. The maximum drop it will give you is 8-1/4 inches.
I have attached a short demonstration video on this product for you to check out.
