You will need to use a lock made by Bell for your Bell bike carrier if it requires a threaded hitch bolt. The issue is that bike rack manufacturers give their locks unique threads so they are not interchangeable with other racks. While it is possible that some carriers will be threaded the same I have no way to test any of the ones we have with a Bell bike carrier, so I have no way to confirm if a theaded pin like the Replacement Threaded Hitch Bolt for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers # 05002400000 will work or not.

Instead you could use the Quiet Hitch # RM-061-125. This will be used to wedge between the hitch receiver and bike rack to take up play and eliminate movement. I have also included a video on this product for you to look at.

Im looking for a threaded hitch bolt for a Bell Rightup 300. Bell hasnt been any help. The manual specifies a 1/2-13 x 4. Will this one work? Thanks!

Like Jason mentioned above, there's unfortunately not a way to know for sure if a hitch pin from another manufacturer will work (in all honesty there's a better chance it won't). Bike rack manufacturers make these threads unique so that only their own pins/locks work.

@ChrisR, I was in the same situation as you. I ordered this part for my bell bike rack and it fit perfectly
