Question:
Strange problem! Has anyone ever had a problem after installing your product with the dash lights when the brakes are appied. Sounds strange but before I remove the wiring harness I thought that I would check. Take care,

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you have the correct trailer wiring harness for your 2013 Ridgeline, there should be no issues with the dash lights on the vehicle when the brakes are applied.
The wiring harness I recommend for your vehicle is the Hopkins # HM43125. This simply plugs into the connection points located behind the vehicle taillights.
I recommend unplugging the harness you have and make sure it is designed as a fit for your vehicle. If it is not then I recommend returning it tot he retailer and using a wiring harness that is a fit.
I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to troubleshoot a wire harness installation you can check out.
