Will Thule T2 Pro Bike Rack Clear Rear Spare of 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

The Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH69XT probably will not clear the rear spare tire of your 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. When we installed the Draw Tite hitch part # 75461 on a 2008 FJ it had a distance of 9 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside of the spare tire. The # TH69XT only has 7 inches from it's pin hole to the nearest wheel tray so it would not fit on your Cruiser if the 9 inch measurement is correct.

The Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # SA4414B would work great for you. It has 13-1/2 inches from it's pin hole to the nearest part of the rack when in use and 10 inches from it's pin hole when folded up. You would be able to use this rack both to carry bikes and then also folded up when not in use without it hitting your spare tire. I included a video of this rack for you to see it in action.
