Recommended Carrier for Kayak or Canoe On 2016 Ford F-250  

Question:

I have a 2016 Ford F-250 Crew Cab. What is the best option to carry a canoe or kayak, keelover or evenkeel? Thanks.

I recommend the Thule DockGrip # TH895. These saddles will work well with kayaks up to 80 lbs in weight. This carrier is for kayaks only. If you are looking to carry a canoe, I recommend the Keelover # Y04069 which will carry a canoe turned upside down. These mounts don't work for both canoe and kayak, but are boat specific.

If you don't already have a roof rack for your 2016 Ford F-250 Crew Cab, I recommend the Rhino-Rack consisting of:

I recommend using the locking metal cores # RRVA-LEC4 to secure your roof rack.
