The Pro Series hitch-mount cargo carrier # 63153 has a shipping weight (including its packaging) of 59-lbs so the carrier itself will weight about 3-lbs less than this, about 56-lbs, when you deduct the weight of the packaging.
This carrier can be fitted with a lighting kit for extra visibility and safety. We offer both standard incandescent bulb kit # 20174 and the super-bright LED kit # 98174LED. The Grand Cherokee needs to have 4-pole trailer wiring to operate the lights.
