Recommended Rearview Mirror Backup Camera for 2000 Chevrolet C-3500

Question:

Is the KSVS-8 appropriate for a 2000 Chevy c-3500 pickup? Is another one more appropriate? I need it to be a mirror monitor. I already have a cell phone and a 7inch Garmin GPS mounted on the console. Will the KSVS-8 act as a good view for hooking up trailers?

The K-Source Vision System Backup Camera w/ Rearview Mirror # KSVS-8 referenced in your question will work great in your 2000 Chevrolet C-3500 as long as you have a wedge mount style for the attachment point on your existing rearview mirror. This is the standard attachment style, but I have included an image that shows what this looks like so you can ensure that it is what you have in your truck.

The rear camera on this unit will give you a good view for backing up with or hooking up your trailer. Just keep in mind that the actual 2.71 inch x 2.02 inch display screen is going to be a bit smaller than a standard backup camera system like the Rear View Safety # RVS-770613-NM.
