Difference Between Reese Factory Rail Kit Adapters RP30154 and RP30156
Question:
I have a 2015 ram crew cab short bed with the factory puck system, what is the difference between these two adaptors? RP30154 and RP30156

The difference between the two adapters is the brand of truck's rail kit they are designed to fit. Since you have a Ram truck the correct adapter you need is the part # RP30154. The part # RP30156 is for Ford trucks and would not be what you need.
The Ram adapter has a much wider bolt pattern to fit the much bigger factory rail kit.
