Recommended Roof Rack And Watersport Carrier For 2007 BMW 325i

Hi I do not have a roof rack for my 2007 BMW I would like to carry either a paddle board or a kayak can I suggest what i need? 325 i 4 door. Thanks

I first recommend a roof rack for your 2007 BMW and then a carrier that can handle either the kayak or a paddleboard.

The roof rack I recommend is the Yakima Jetstream. This roof rack has Black Aluminum aerodynamic crossbars that have built-in WindRidges to help control the air flow and reduce wind noise and vibration. The towers included with the roof rack are designed to fit the fixed mounting points on the vehicle roof. To order this roof rack you will need part # Y00425, part # Y53TR, and part # Y00233.

The carrier I recommend is the Yakima SweetRoll, part # Y04074. This carrier can be used with either your Paddleboard or your kayak. It comes with the bow/stern tie-down to anchor the boat to the vehicle and tie-down straps to secure the paddleboard or kayak to the roof rack.

For added security you can add the SKS lock cores to the roof rack and also to the carrier. To lock all four legs of the roof rack and lock the carrier I recommend part # Y07208. This included 8 lock cores that use the same key.
